About Us
Welcome to
Montessori Preparatory School
For nearly two decades, Montessori Preparatory School has been a place where children grow not just academically, but as confident, independent, and compassionate individuals. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy, our school is dedicated to nurturing each child's natural love for learning in a peaceful, engaging environment.
As the proud owner and long-time administrator of Montessori Preparatory School, I am honored to lead a passionate team of educators who believe in the power of hands-on learning, respect for the child, and individualized education. Our classrooms are carefully prepared to foster curiosity, creativity, and responsibility, encouraging students to explore at their own pace while developing strong academic and life skills.
Our school feels like family. Many of our staff have been with us for years, and our relationships with parents and students are built on trust, communication, and a shared commitment to each child’s growth. We know that early education sets the foundation for lifelong success, and we take that responsibility to heart.
On behalf of our entire team, I invite you to become part of the Montessori Preparatory School community, a place where children are seen, heard, and inspired to thrive.

Maria Montessori
"Play is the work of a child"
Montessori is an educational philosophy and method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator, in the early 1900s. It’s based on the belief that children learn best when they are given freedom within a structured, prepared environment that supports their natural curiosity and development.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is grounded in the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, who believed that children learn best in an environment that respects their natural development. At Montessori Preparatory School:
-
Learning is hands-on, child-led, and rooted in exploration
-
Teachers serve as guides, observing and supporting each child’s unique journey
-
Mixed-age classrooms encourage leadership, collaboration, and mentorship
-
The environment is carefully prepared to promote independence, concentration, and responsibility
-
Children move freely, make choices, and engage in purposeful work at their own pace
-
Education extends beyond academics to nurture character, empathy, and emotional well-being
We believe that every child has limitless potential. Our role is to create the conditions that allow that potential to unfold with confidence and joy.
Our Core Values
Respect
We honor each child as an individual and treat all members of our community with kindness and dignity.
Responsibility
We help students develop accountability, leadership, and care for their environment and community.
Independence
We empower children to take ownership of their learning and build confidence through purposeful work.
Peace
We promote conflict resolution, emotional awareness, and empathy through daily practice.
Curiosity
We encourage children to explore, ask questions, and find joy in discovery.
Community
We believe that education thrives when children, families, and staff work together in partnership.
