 Welcome To Beginners

A Joyful First Step into Independence and Discovery

At Montessori Preparatory School, our Beginners Program is specially designed for children ages 2 to 3 years old—a time when they are curious, active, and eager to do things for themselves. We provide a safe, loving, and structured environment that supports your child’s first steps toward independence.

Developmentally Appropriate and Respectful

Our Montessori-trained teachers create a classroom where children feel seen, heard, and valued. We gently guide children through daily routines, helping them develop trust, security, and self-confidence.

Learning Through Hands-On Exploration

Beginners are introduced to Montessori materials that engage their senses and natural curiosity. They explore early concepts in language, math, art, and practical life through movement, play, and meaningful activities.

Focus on Practical Life and Independence

Children in our Beginners Program begin to learn important life skills—like pouring, cleaning, dressing, and toileting. These tasks are empowering and help them build confidence, coordination, and independence in everyday life.

Language and Social Growth

This age is full of language explosions! We support vocabulary building through songs, stories, conversation, and gentle peer interactions, encouraging the development of early communication and social skills.

 Peaceful Transitions and Routines

With consistent schedules and gentle transitions, children feel secure and calm. We focus on fostering independence, while always meeting the child with kindness, patience, and respect.
