 Welcome To Intermediate

Building Confidence, Independence, and a Love for Learning

The Intermediate Program at Montessori Preparatory School is specially designed for children ages 3 to 4, a stage filled with growing independence, expanding curiosity, and rapid developmental milestones. In our warm and structured Montessori environment, children are gently guided toward greater self-reliance and academic readiness.

 Foundations for Lifelong Learning

Through hands-on experiences with Montessori materials, children build early skills in language, math, science, and sensorial exploration. These materials promote focus, problem-solving, and joy in discovery—all at the child’s own pace.Through hands-on experiences with Montessori materials, children build early skills in language, math, science, and sensorial exploration.  Practical Life and Self-Care

Children learn to care for themselves and their environment with real-world tasks like pouring, sweeping, buttoning, and food preparation. These activities develop fine motor skills, responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.

 Language and Expression

At this stage, vocabulary blossoms. We provide rich language experiences through storytelling, songs, conversations, and pre-reading activities—supporting both expressive and receptive communication skills.

 Social and Emotional Development

With increased peer interaction, we guide children in cooperation, turn-taking, and conflict resolution. Lessons in grace and courtesy are embedded into daily routines, helping children develop empathy, kindness, and respect for others.

 Freedom Within Structure

Our classrooms allow children to make choices within a carefully prepared environment. This encourages independence while maintaining a gentle structure that helps them feel secure and successful.
